1. Complete ‘your, you’re’ sheet.
2. Learn spelling words and write them in a silly paragraph. Example: My green dog baked a slimy cake.

Maths – Maths Week Scotland Challenge (see email/previous post from Mrs Johnstone).

Reading – Continue reading your novel and complete the tasks for Tuesday 25th September (because of the long weekend):

1. Design a new front cover for the book. Make sure you include the title and author! This should be a colourful new design.
2. Write a letter to the author and tell them your opinion of the book. You can include why you liked/didn’t like the book and why and your favourite/least favourite characters. You can also ask the author questions, such as their ideas for the book and questions about being a writer.

Topic – Next week in class we will be writing leaflets. Please bring in any leaflet about a tourist location for discussion in class.
