Primary 2 have begun the topic, ‘Science Champions’ with P7D. Through this topic the children undertake a number of science challenges. These are done on a Monday and a Thursday afternoon. The children have been teamed up with buddies in P7 who guide them through the experiments. The children really enjoyed the session on Thursday. They were able to make predictions, observations and draw conclusions. Below are some pictures of the children working with the P7 buddies.

This week the children are going to be introduced to a new website called, ‘Sumdog’. Accessing this website on a regular basis will help your child to improve their mental maths.
Each child will be given their own username and password for the site, this can be found in their homework jotter.
A fun approach to mental maths, your child will enjoy accessing and playing the games.
