This week the children enjoyed creating their own acrostic poems.  They worked with a partner, creating some fantastic work.  They managed to use some great WOW words!

In maths we are continuing to learn about time.  This is something that you may wish to work on with your child.  Starting with o’clock, then half past and then quarter past.

Here are some links to games you may wish to play, with varying difficulty-

 Other Information

In reading we have been learning about characters.  This is a good thing to discuss with your child at home when reading.  Here are some questions you may ask:

1. Can you name the characters in the book?

2. Who is the main character?

3.Who is your favourite character?

4. Can you describe your characters apperance?

5.  Can you describe your characters personality?

Thank you for taking the time to look at the class blog! Here are a couple of pictures of the children playing in the sand tray.  They were having great fun pretending this was the surface of the moon (flour, baby oil, tin foil scrunched up and little gems).
