Our Shining Stars!
Huge congratulations to Leo Hay on his Pupil of the Week Award on Friday! Leo produced a beautiful Monet inspired painting in class last week which he worked on meticulously! We were also absolutely delighted to see Leo finally master his Big Maths Beat That challenge in 30 seconds! Well done Leo! We are so proud of you!!
We were also thrilled to see Freya Bews receive a Playground Star Award for last week too! Keep up the great work Freya!
Sports Day
Primary 3/4 had a fantastic day full of achievement! We enjoyed lovely weather for both Sports Day sessions and it was great to have so many family members there to cheer the children on! The children made very efficient helpers and kept things running smoothly. Well done, everyone! Continue reading Sports Day
Star of the Week
Congratulations to Lacey-Lee for being chosen as our Pupil of the Week. Lacey-Lee won the certificate this week for always trying her very best and for consistently demonstrating a positive attitude. Well done Lacey-Lee! We are very proud of you!
Duthie Park Visit
Primary 3/4 had a wonderful visit to Duthie Park today. Thank you to our parent volunteers for coming along! We worked in two groups, looking at a real beehive and planting bee-friendly seeds. After all our hard work, we managed a visit to the playground.
RGU Gym Sessions
Today was our final Gym session with students from Robert Gordon University. We have really enjoyed playing the games and learning the skills that they have taught us.
Outdoor Learning
The pupils of Primary 3/4 have really been enjoying their Outdoor Learning sessions with Mr Miller! We have been very lucky with the weather and today was another chance to build dens in the sunshine.
Pupil of the Week
Our congratulations go to Megan who was chosen to be the star for last week! Megan worked very hard to complete an accurate and beautifully illustrated menu in French. She planned her food/drinks for breakfast, lunch and supper and drew attractive pictures for each meal. Way to go Megan!
Sports Day
We are all looking forward to our Sports Day on Wednesday 23rd May! Like last year, the children will be split into their year groups for their races. As we are a composite P3/4 class this year, it means that our Sports Day timings will be as follows:
Primary 3 – 10am
Primary 4 – 1:30pm
We will make sure that the children are involved in each other’s Sports Day and will give them the opportunity to spectate and encourage their classmates! Fingers crossed for sunshine!!
