P4 have been in the garden this week.

We have been planting potatoes and they are now 6 cm tall.

We have also been helping Mrs Shaw tidying up the garden, there was so much to do it took over 1 hour which isn’t normal.

We are planning to grow some vegetables this term. We will have our own space in the garden.

We love being in the garden because we plant stuff and we get to go out in the sun.

Mrs Wheatley played an April Fool’s Day joke on us. She told us we were learning to speak like an indigenous Amazonian tribe. This is what we wrote:

We had lots of fun at the school sleep over. There were lots of fun games. There was even a hair and nail bar, and there  was also trampolining.  We watched a movie, and there were lots of movies in different classrooms. Then we set the classroom for sleeping, brushed our teeth and tried to go to sleep. Some of us didn’t get much sleep!!  The teachers slept in the corridors.

We started at 8 o’clock at night, then we went home at 8 o’clock in the morning. We had a breakfast bar and juice for breakfast .

We raised lots of money for school funds. We raised £2322.75!!!!

We have been doing science activities. We have done 6 activities:  ping pong balls, telephone cans, instruments, ringing head coat hangers, elastic band guitars, and boomwhackers. We are learning sound science. We learned that sound is energy, and it is caused by vibrations. We had a lot of fun.

Our frog spawn is from the Dunoon ditch and our frog spawn is now tadpoles. Now they  are swimming and  DON’T TOUCH THE BLUETAC because that is the plug on the tank.

In primary 4 we have been having rubgy lessons. It has been lots of fun. We are being taught by Callum. The hardest thing to remember is that you can’t throw the ball forward. The best thing is running with the ball in our teams. We also love learning the rules about rugby.

We have been learning about the rainforest. There is 4 layers: the emergent , canopy , under storey and forest floor. We have been learning about the animals, we have been doing power points.  My friends and I have been researching blue morpho butterfly , iguana and a brown tree snake.

My favourite thing is basket ball.:]
