A few weeks ago we had a visitor. His name was Coco. He was a giant African s<\/span>nail and he is very cute but slimy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Food<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He likes to eat multiple things. But his favorite thing is cucumber. He can also eat other things like lettuce, carrots, potatoes. Lettuce. Cabbage. Courgettis. Sweet potato. Cauliflower. And many more. He cannot have anything with salt or garlic because it is very toxic for him.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hibernation<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Coco only goes to hibernation if he feels scared, if his tank is too cold or too hot, or his environment is too much or too bad for him. How do you know the snails in hibernation? He makes a wee hard shell on the bottom of his thing. How to wake him up from hibernation is a bit harder because you need to check what type of heat. Likes the best heat for him is probably around 18 to 21.\u00a0 So it’s quite hard to keep his tank the best stat you can or it won’t be safe for him.<\/span><\/p>\n
