Every child in our school belongs to a clan group. We have 4 clans named after Islay beaches on the Rhinns of Islay: Ardnave, Machair, Claddach and Saligo.
Each clan has a clan leader and a clan second. Every term we have Clan Challenges for the children to take part in. These challenges develop a variety of skills for our pupils which include: teamwork, leadership, communication and co-operation as pupils work together from nursery to P7.
Here are some pictures of one of our clan rotations. The clans all get a chance to do each activity. The activities on this occasion were:
