1) Why did you pick this subject and how did you get advice and support?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: Enjoyed it in S3, own choice to carry on the subject.<\/p>\n

A: Picked it up because it was fun and enjoyed it in S2 and S3.<\/p>\n

A: Good skill, no advice in picking subject.<\/p>\n

2) What did you need to get in? (e.g. a Pass at Nat 4, a B in Nat 5, good grades in S3; good practical skills, ability to work well with others)?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: Didn\u2019t need to pass any tests, just wanted to do it.<\/p>\n

A: Good skills in S3 and ability.<\/p>\n

A: Didn\u2019t need to pass anything, just needed a good understanding and ability for the subject.<\/p>\n

3) Will you do this subject next year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: Yes.<\/p>\n

4) What kinds of topics do you cover?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: Theory and practical.<\/p>\n

A: Practical woodwork mostly and newly introduced theory.<\/p>\n

5) What has been your favourite topic and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: Practical, get to make things and take them home when finished.<\/p>\n

A:\u00a0 Making the clock (final project).\u00a0 There\u2019s a lot to it and it\u2019s interesting to see how all the parts are made.<\/p>\n

A:\u00a0 Doing the clock and working with a more complicated project, more hands on, don\u2019t need to write as much as other subjects.<\/p>\n

A: No learning activities, learnt to use some tools and how they work.<\/p>\n

A: How to use tools safely and how not to use them, future skills for future jobs.<\/p>\n

A: Not a lot of homework, some revision.<\/p>\n

A: Construction, carpentry, building and furniture making.<\/p>\n

11) What would you say to someone who is thinking about picking this subject next year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: If you enjoy it just go for it, it\u2019s a break from other subjects at school and is overall an enjoyable subject.<\/p>\n

A: Enjoyable, fun and a break from other subjects.<\/p>\n
