Class 1.4 got a surprise when asked to prepare a short talk (in 5 minutes) about themselves, giving the following information:

·         Name and age

·         Height and build

·         Describe their hair

·         Describe their eyes

·         Use at least 2 adjectives to describe their personality/character

They all worked with a partner they would not usually work with, had to present their talk while their partner listened carefully and prepared quality feedback, reporting on the following:

·         Pronunciation / intonation / accent

·         Accuracy of verbs (‘j’ai’ or ‘je suis’)

·         Agreement of adjectives where appropriate

·         Confidence of delivery of the presentation

They then rated the overall task on its value for type of activity and giving feedback.  Feedback had to be constructive and they had to give advice on next steps to their partners.  Feedback was both oral and written.  Bon travail, 1.4!!!!!
