Primary One have had a fabulous first term at Cardross Primary. Today we reflected on all the activities we have taken part in and all the things we have been learning. As we have been so busy we decided we could only have four activities to choose from to see which was the class favourite, dressing up for the Roald Dahl day was the most popular choice.
This week we have been learning inside and outside the classroom. On Wednesday we went outside on a number hunt to see if we could find any numbers. We were surprised to find numbers all around us.

On Thursday afternoon we listened to the Leaf Man story and then we went outside and worked together to make our own Leaf Man.

On Thursday morning we had our first experience of performing to an audience. At the Senior Citizens Harvest Tea we sang the song Autumn is coming and played some instruments. We have been practising this with Mrs Ridland in our music lessons.
Finally this week Primary One were very lucky to receive a gift from Mr Berry and the Tinker Club, this term they have been busy making us a Mud Kitchen from recycled pallets. We had great fun using it this afternoon in the woods. Thank you Mr Berry and the Tinker Club.
