Merry Christmas from Primary One

It’s been a busy two weeks in Primary One with 3 Nativity performances, one of which was at Ardardan Estate, then a trip to the Panto at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow. This week we have had our Christmas Jumper day, Christmas Lunch and Christmas Church Service. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and we look forward to sharing our learning with everyone when we return in 2017.

A busy time in Primary 1.

This week we begun rehearsing for our Nativity play, we all have different parts to play and lots of songs to learn. Once again this year we are really excited to be performing in and out of school.

Also this week the Primary One Christmas Post Office opened and we look forward to collecting, sorting and delivering the Christmas cards around the school.

A trip to the Post Office

Last Thursday we took a trip to the village Post Office to buy a stamp and post a letter to ourselves. We went into the Post Office and asked for a second class stamp. We noticed that the stamps were special Christmas stamps and had a picture of a Snowman on it. We decided to design our own stamps.
