This session, we are hoping to achieve Gold status!<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT IS A RIGHTS RESPECTING SCHOOL?<\/h3>\n<p>The UNICEF UK\u00a0Rights\u00a0Respecting\u00a0Schools Award (RRSA) is based on principles of equality, dignity,\u00a0respect, non-discrimination and participation. The RRSA seeks to put the UN Convention on the\u00a0Rights\u00a0of the Child at the heart of a school\u2019s ethos and culture to improve well-being and develop every child\u2019s talents and abilities to their full potential.<\/p>\n<p>A rights-respecting school is a community where children\u2019s rights are learned, taught, practiced, respected, protected and promoted.
