Pupils focused on developing their leadership skills by learning how to organise and adapt playground games so that everyone can take part.<\/p>\n<p>They explored how to give clear instructions, support younger pupils, and think carefully about how games can be adapted to ensure they are inclusive and enjoyable for all. The class then practised leading the games with one another, developing their confidence in explaining rules, organising equipment, and encouraging participation. This preparation will help them lead these games with P1\u20133 pupils during lunchtime breaks, supporting active and inclusive play across the school.<\/p>\n<p>This learning links to \ud83c\udf0d UNCRC Article 15 (freedom to meet and join groups) and Article 31 (the right to play), as pupils are helping to create opportunities for younger children to play together in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive way.
