We believe that reading is for everyone. Across the school, we promote reading for enjoyment as well as for learning, helping children to develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of books.<\/p>\n

Children are encouraged to explore a wide range of texts, share recommendations and talk about what they are reading.<\/p>\n

    Pupil Leadership<\/h3>\n

    Our Reading Schools group plays an important role in leading reading across the school. Children organise events, promote books and help to create a welcoming reading environment for all learners.<\/p>\n

    Building Skills for Life<\/h3>\n

    Through reading, children develop essential skills in literacy, communication and critical thinking. Just as importantly, they develop empathy, imagination and a deeper understanding of the world around them.<\/p>\n

    Looking Ahead<\/h3>\n
