In primary 4/5 we have been doing a movie talk. Our movie talk is a bit like a show and tell but it is all about our favourite movie. All of us have been working extremely hard.We have to show and tell the class all about our favourite movie, you are also allowed to bring anything you like to show the class about your favourite movie.

We had a robert burns day and we all do dances and poams.
P1-2 Present a poem called Come a riddle.
p1-2-3 galeic class sang a song.
p4-5 presented a poem and a dance called Ma Bantie Hen and the dance the Gay Gordens
p3-4 presented a poem called The Pipers
G4-7 presented tamo chanter and drama.
p6 -7 presented Scots Wha Hae and the Dashing White Sargents.
They all did brilliantly well!

For p1/2’s outdoor learning, they went to the RSPB. First they went inside and looked at birds wings and beaks. Next they went to look for birds. They took pictures,vidios and p2 wrote about it!

On a Tuesday afternoon P6/7 go in to the hall to learn Scottish Country Dancing.
Very kindly Mrs Aitchson comes in in her own time to teach us, so far we have learnt The Dashing White Seargent, The Gay Gordons, The Circle Waltz, Reel for Jeannie and more. Miss McPhee, Mrs Rae as well as Ms Gilbert help us all to get them all right.

On Monday 26 January 2016 eco made a willow tunnel we spent a while preparing and we finally made it. we are going to add a pond in it for everyone.
Abby I loved making the holes for the willow.
Callum I loved tying the willow to gather.
Iain I loved tying the willow.
Sam I loved making the tunnel.
The Peace Hut was bulit for the P7 so they could relax and chill and think about things that could make the school a better place.
The Peace Hut has a kings chair in the middle of it and benches around the sides .Outside there is a bug hotel and also a friendship bench.

Bird watchingSam and Jorja interviewed children from primary 1-2. They went down to the battery to see birds because there learning about bird watching for their outdoor learning topic.

P4/5 have been very busy making their own blood.They thought it was really fun to find out what was inside their blood.They found out some questions and they thought that they could make their own blood. They had a jar filled with water with yellow food colouring in it. Then they added cells. For the white blood cells, they used marshmallows and for red blood cells, they used cheerios. They painted the cheerios red so that the water turned red. This was the blood.For platelets, they used pompoms.
They did a great job of making the blood! Here are some comment about their favourite bits!

Nieve: “When we were making the white blood cells and the red blood cells.”
Kacper: “My favourite was making the platelets.”
Daniel loved “watching it turn red!”
The P4/5 and Gaidhlig 4/7 were learning about how our fantastic blood cells work. They thought that they could make some cool blood.
In B.P.S the P7 run lunch time clubs. On Mondays we have arts and crafts.
On Tuesdays we have reading and sports clubs.
On Wednesdays we have computer club.
On Thursdays we have construction club.
Finely on Friday we have multi activates.
