For p1/2’s outdoor learning, they went to the RSPB. First they went inside and looked at birds wings and beaks. Next they went to look for birds. They took pictures,vidios and p2 wrote about it!
On a Tuesday afternoon P6/7 go in to the hall to learn Scottish Country Dancing.
Very kindly Mrs Aitchson comes in in her own time to teach us, so far we have learnt The Dashing White Seargent, The Gay Gordons, The Circle Waltz, Reel for Jeannie and more. Miss McPhee, Mrs Rae as well as Ms Gilbert help us all to get them all right.
Sam and Jorja interviewed children from primary 1-2. They went down to the battery to see birds because there learning about bird watching for their outdoor learning topic.
P4/5 have been very busy making their own blood.They thought it was really fun to find out what was inside their blood.They found out some questions and they thought that they could make their own blood. They had a jar filled with water with yellow food colouring in it. Then they added cells. For the white blood cells, they used marshmallows and for red blood cells, they used cheerios. They painted the cheerios red so that the water turned red. This was the blood.For platelets, they used pompoms.
They did a great job of making the blood! Here are some comment about their favourite bits!

On Tuesday 12th January Bowmore Primary School had a special author, she was called Cathy Wilson. She brought some people with her. She had two horses (they were toys) and a dragon( it was real) the dragon danced and danced but it ran out of fire…
