TEACHING MUSIC THROUGH SONG
\nDelivered by Jenny England, primary music specialistBring the joy of song into your classroom, whilst building skills in the key elements of music. The voice is our most accessible instrument, a wonderful resource to support a sense of belonging, self expression and to develop musical skills. This session is designed to give you ease and inspiration to have fun with singing. Absolutely no experience required, those less confident about singing especially welcome. You will learn to:
\n\u2022 \u2018Work\u2019 a song to explore tempo, dynamics, rhythm, ostinato patterns and improvisation.
\n\u2022 Achieve success when singing in two or more parts
\n\u2022 Encourage accurate pitching
\n\u2022 Invent games and have fun with songs
\n\u2022 Become more confident singing with your class<\/p>\n
