Rain did not dampen the spirits of the excited youngsters as they turned out in their finery for this very special day at St. Joseph\u2019s Church. The children were ably supported by many family members and the church was full to bursting.<BR><BR><!--more-->  The children were a credit to their parents as they presented themselves so reverently at Church.  Everyone commented on the lovely occasion, giving some well-deserved praise to the children\u2019s teachers Miss Trainer, Mrs Stewart and Mrs McMurtrie who had worked so hard to prepare the children for this very important day. A beautiful service was conducted by Parish Priest Father Lennon with the ladies of the parish and members of the school\u2019s PTA organising a beautiful breakfast in the church hall for the children and their families. Ms Collins, Head teacher, said, \u2018This has been such a special day for the children, staff, parents and parish community.
