\"\"<\/a>As part of their project about Crofting, Lochnell pupils from Primary five, six and seven\u00a0enjoyed a great\u00a0experience travelling back in\u00a0time at the Auchindrain Township on Wednesday 24th October.\u00a0 The children who have been running their very own ‘virtual’ crofts in class have been\u00a0comparing crofting\u00a0in the past\u00a0to modern day.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The children\u00a0enjoyed a day learning about farming life, agricultural\u00a0improvements and\u00a0change with lots of hands on activities which included; making dolls, a mystery object quiz, traditional remedies, dressing up in period clothes and\u00a0cooking delicious scones on an open fire inside one of the houses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
