\"\"<\/a>Celebrating 30 years of the BFG\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

With lots of celebrations going to celebrate the BFG\u2019s 30th<\/sup> Birthday, the Primary 7 pupils at St. Mun\u2019s decided to investigate some really \u2018Big Dreamers\u2019 who had their dreams come true.\u00a0 They were set the task of working collaboratively in small groups to produce a fact profile for a number of famous people including Thomas Edison, Galileo, Amelia Earhart and Marie Curie to name just a few.\u00a0 The children then had\u00a0to present their findings to their peers.\u00a0 Amazingly, some of them had never heard of these \u2018Dreamers\u2019 and admitted they were much more knowledgeable after everyone had presented their findings.<\/p>\n

Later the children wrote about their own dreams\u00a0 and stored them in jars just like The BFG.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
