\"\"<\/a>On the evening of Thursday 4th December, Bute Rotary Club held its \u201cYoung Musician of the Year\u201d competition. We are delighted that two pupils from Rothesay Academy won their respective categories. S3 pupil, Layla Templeton won the vocal section after performing two well-known songs: \u201cAe fond kiss\u201d and Abba\u2019s \u201cThank you for the Music\u201d. Meanwhile S5 pupil, Michael Sweeney won the instrumental category for saxophone. Michael\u2019s chosen pieces were \u201cMyopic Mice\u201d and \u201cStrimpellata\u201d.
