World&#8217; poetry competition. They were asked to create an imaginative poem on any theme which demonstrated a command of ambitious vocabulary, imagery, similes, alliteration and other poetic techniques. P5\/4 chose to base their poems on Space while P6\/7 chose the theme &#8216;Fireworks.&#8217;<br \/>\nWe were absolutely delighted to return from the October holidays to the news that <!--more-->every single entry from St. Columba&#8217;s Primary School had been selected for publication in a national poetry anthology which will be released in January 2015.
