\"\"<\/a>Pupils at Dunoon Grammar School are celebrating success at the recent Inverclyde Cross Country Championships held earlier this month in Birkmyre Park, Kilmacolm.
\nSecond year twins Nuala and Cliona McCheyne finished first and second in the S2 race, with Niamh Doherty winning the S1 girl\u2019s race and Alan Mollins claiming second in the S1 boys race.

When asked what it like is to race against each other the girls shrugged and said \u201cIt\u2019s nice to have that bit of extra support and we push each other, we are VERY competitive… We don\u2019t think of it as racing a sister but instead just another competitor.\u2019

\nNuala who came first said \u2018It was a really good experience to run against people from other schools\u2019 whereas Cliona said \u2018I\u2019m now looking forward to the up incoming indoor track season\u2019

\nHead Teacher Mr David Mitchell commented:
\n\u201cAgainst very tough opposition, from across the country, four pupils from DGS have returned with medals.
