\"\"<\/a>Last session P5 (now current P6), under the excellent guidance and tuition of class teacher Catherine McLean, entered the Scottish Engineer\u2019s Leaders Award organised by STEM in conjunction with Strathclyde University\u2019s Faculty of Engineering. The project was to create an engineering design for the future and with such a wide remit, the creativity of the children exploded onto the page! The children had to submit a drawing of their design along with a written piece to describe it.


Ideas included hair straighteners which could also dye your hair to a car with an internal house and swimming pool! This week the now P6 children were presented with their awards with one child being asked to attend the winners\u2019 ceremony due to the quality of her entry. St Joseph\u2019s will therefore be represented on the weekend of 29 and 30 March at Barony Hall, University of Strathclyde when the top 200 designs will be on display to the public.
