I frowned.\u00a0Trevor my budgie had died years ago when I was\u00a0 7 so what was making that awful noise?\u00a0 I felt very <strong>sorry<\/strong> for it.\u00a0I\u00a0 decided\u00a0to see\u00a0what\u00a0was going on. Standing on the\u00a0 concert piano was an exquisite peacock <strong>green<\/strong> bird with a\u00a0 rounded beak\u00a0 like that of a toucan.\u00a0Scientists had believed\u00a0it\u00a0to\u00a0be it extinct.\u00a0It was called the Maklou bird and the rest of it&#8217;s kind had <strong>exploded<\/strong>&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0It was a cold winter night.\u00a0 I\u00a0 was reading my book\u00a0about\u00a0tiny birds when I heard a terrific squawking coming from the piano room.
