Primary 1a are very happy to be back in school after the Christmas holidays and we have been working hard and learning lots this week.
“I learned how to spell ‘but’ this week.” – Ava May
“I learned about ‘u’ this week and I know that the word ‘up’ starts with that sound” – Zack.
“I now know how to read number names” – Ryan.
“I have learned that the Scottish flag is called the Saltire” – Amy.
“I know that the Scotland flag has four blue triangles and a white cross on it” – Hope.
“I have learned that Robert Burn’s mum and dad were farmers” – Reuben.
We have had another busy week in school. We have learned lots of new things and have continued to develop our reading and writing skills.

Louie was our Responsible Citizen for being very kind to all his friends.
We have had a busy and tiring week in school and have really enjoyed performing for an audience in the school show!

Malaika was our Successful Learner this week for writing a super information report about plants. Well done Malaika.

Today we were lucky enough to have our parents in to visit our classroom. We were learning all about how to look after ourselves.

“I learned that we need to brush our hair and our teeth and wash our face to keep ourselves clean” – Kayla.
