Room 3 performed their assembly this morning about Brazil. Although they are only Primary One, they were able to tell us lots of information and entertained us through song and dance. Did you know ‘Christ the Redeemer’ took 9 years to construct? Please look at their photographs and feel free to leave a comment.
Active Literacy
Toady we were doing Active Literacy. We can work independently and in a group.
Under The Sea
Room 3 made jellyfish! We used shower caps and decorated them. Don’t they look fab?
Sports Day
Declan, Joseph Mc and Lindsay.
Sports day was fun. There were lots of activities. I liked the races (Declan). Iona won. Joseph was in Iona. Lindsay was in Barra. Declan was in Mull. We did an egg and spoon race. We did a running grace. We did a skipping race. We did a beanbag race. We liked the Captain’s relay. Barra won the relay race.
Christmas Fayre
Primary 1 had a Christmas Fayre today. We sold cards, decorations, handprints, crackers and much more. Our families came to visit us and we had tea and home-made cakes. Thank you to everyone who came and made it a successful day.
Party Time!
Room 3 had a fantastic time at their Christmas Party. We did so many different dances and even had a special visit from Santa! He said we have been good boys and girls and we each got a present. What a wonderful day. Here are some of our pictures and there are more on twitter.

Little Witches!
Room 3 had a great time at the Hallowe’en Parade. We sang a song about 3 little witches and we even had some little witches in our class. We are throwing some shapes on the floor at the party afterwards – Miss Ramage still has sore feet! Have a look at some of our pictures. There are more on the school website.
Our new Primary 1
Miss Ramage is delighted with her new Primary 1 children this year. They have managed to line up really well in the mornings and are working really hard so far.
Today they were learning how to write the letter ‘a’.
