Summer, are you here?

Over the weekend, Inverness experiences some glorious sunshine – perhaps that is summer finally here (we’re hoping so as our ECO Garden Party is 4 weeks today).

On Saturday, Lochardil took part in Inter-School Sports at Bught Park. It was an extremely successful day, with Lochardil receiving placings in many of our events. Check out the photographs below:

Well done to everyone who took part, and in particular, Mrs Brown who led the training each week.

See you tomorrow,
Mr.Cook, Mrs.MacLeod and Mrs.Prentice

  1. Summer would seem like a nice thing to be – here in New Zealand as we are moving into winter its a bit colder for our students. However, when we are saying colder, the temperature here in Hamilton, New Zealand dosen\’t get much lower than ten degrees (centigrade) in Winter. We\’ve had snow precisely twice, that is for two days in the last one hundred years. We had a ten second snow flurry last year and that was the second time. Most students are wearing shoes but we do get the odd student on bare feet here at school even in the middle of winter.

I enjoyed looking at the photos from the sports exchange it was nice to see the smiling faces and the students who received medals looked espically proud.
