Welcome back after the holidays! I hope everyone enjoyed the break.

The timetable remains the same this term. We will visit the school library on a Friday and most of the children are remembering to bring back their library book. Well done parents! If a book does go missing, you can replace it with a donation book.

The children will be going outside at break time and lunch time if at all possible so gloves and hats are essential. Please try to put names on if possible…….. they WILL go missing!!!!!!!

Just a reminder, Friday 16th November is an In-Service Day.

I look forward to seeing you on 7th or 8th November. The slips with times went home yesterday.

Good afternoon everyone!

A big thank you to all parents who have provided their child with gym shoes,  a reading folder or book bag, and a rainy day activity book .

The children are getting into the routine of hanging up coats on their peg, changing shoes, remembering where their reading folder goes, and putting water bottles in the tray.  Quite a lot of things to remember!

Our class is invited to try out a school lunch on 6th September. Mums or Dads will accompany their child in the dining room and can have lunch too.  There is a letter in each book bag from Alison, our school cook explaining what will happen. Please put money in an envelope with your child’s name on it so I can pass it to Alison.

Monday – Assembly, singing with Miss Hamilton.

Tuesday – P.E. with Miss Macrae.

Wednesday – Music/Drama with Mrs Mackinnon.

Thursday – Health and wellbeing with Mrs Cox.

Friday – Library.

The children have settled in really well and I hope the transition from nursery to school has been easy. The Primary 7 buddies are doing a great job of looking after their wee pals outside in the playground and everyone seems happy so far. Long may that continue!
